COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS: AN EXPERT PANEL ON RESILIENCE AND SUPPORTING FAMILIES IMPACTED BY TRAUMA
In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, join us for an evening focused on Building Resilience: Supporting and Addressing Families Impacted by Trauma.
Sally Winn, Director of Legal Services at the YWCA, our own Hannah Stearns, Spokane County Prosecutor, and
Veronica VanPatten, Spokane County Detective will share insights on trauma-informed communication, ACEs, and strategies to support families impacted by domestic violence and how we can work together to build stronger, more resilient communities.
YWCA IMPACT DONATION LIST
Sally Winn, Director of Legal Services at the YWCA, will be joining our panel to discuss domestic violence issues in the Spokane community. The YWCA has identified a need for domestic violence survivors, and we’re hoping to support them with an impact project that aligns with our focus area. We’d love to present these items to Sally at the meeting as a thank-you and a tangible way to help.
Please bring the following, if you’re able, to the October GMM:
- Feminine hygiene products
- Toiletries
- New underwear (all adult sizes)
- New bras (all adult sizes)
You can also contribute through the Amazon Support Donation List here:
